From NC 14 South (from VA): At the traffic light in front of Morehead Hospital take a right onto King's Highway. At the second light take a left onto Highland Park Drive , then immediately take a right onto B Street, then another immediate right onto Highland Drive. The school is on the left but because of our one-way signs, in order to get in the parking lot you will go past the school and take a left on Glovenia Street, then a left on College Street.

I am honored to have the opportunity to be your Principal this year! I look forward to a year of establishing relationships with you, your child, and our Leaksville-Spray community. I am encouraged that we will build a partnership that fosters support, collaboration and a unified mission to continue the academic success and growth of each of our students.
I am a resident of Rockingham County and my entire educational career has been spent in Rockingham County Schools. I attended North Carolina A & T State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I taught at Monroeton Elementary and Central Elementary School. I taught predominantly at Monroeton Elementary and in 2010-2011 was named its teacher of the year. I completed my Academically and Gifted certification at Duke University and served as an Instructional Coach for Dillard Academy and Monroeton. I earned my Master’s degree in Executive Leadership Studies at Gardner Webb University and served as assistant principal at Western Rockingham Middle School and Rockingham County High School. This year, I received the Rockingham County Schools’ Assistant Principal of the Year Award.
The journey to the principalship at Leaksville-Spray has afforded many opportunities and experiences that I plan to utilize with maximum capacity to promote academic excellence at Leaksville-Spray Elementary School.

Dear Leaksville Spray families and community,
I feel blessed with the opportunity to serve as your Assistant Principal this school year. I look forward to building strong relationships and continuing to strengthen our community wide network. I have felt incredibly welcomed by students, faculty, and the community as a whole.
I reside in Rockingham County and I am a former graduate of Rockingham County High School. I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I earned dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Middle Grades Education and English. I served at Western Guilford Middle School as a 6-8 grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher and MTSS Specialist for a combined 14 years.
During my time with Guilford County Schools I earned my Master’s Degree in Education from National University, then added my Executive Leadership licensure at Gardner Webb University shortly after.
I am excited to be back and apart of Rockingham County Schools. I take pride in knowing my education and experiences will support the level of excellence shown by the students, staff, and surrounding community of Leaksville Spray.

A Brief History
Leaksville-Spray Elementary School was completed in 1994. It has a distinctive design which is both attractive and functional. Housing Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, it provides a rich learning environment for all of its students. The new building replaced two other schools which were closed. To commemorate this event, two time capsules were created at Leaksville-Spray Elementary.
The Leaksville- Spray Elementary School serves as a source of pride for each of us because it represents the commitment and hope that the citizens of our community place upon education and the future. Leaksville-Spray Intermediate School provided this community with a rich tradition and model of learning throughout the community for nearly one hundred years. The Eden City Board of Education visualized the need for the construction of a replacement school that would serve to educate its students for the next century. Thus, the process began. After the merger to the Rockingham County School System, the vision of the ECS Board was completed. The Moseley Group from Richmond, Virginia designed the 600 student building which was built by the Hodgin Construction Company.
